7 days mount kenya naivasha masai mara

 Day 1. NAIROBI – MOUNT KENYA VIA NANYUKI ROAD

Pick up from your hotel and drive from Nairobi through central Kenya and proceed towards Nyeri with a nice view of Mt. Kenya and the Aberdare ranges in clear weather. You will have a brief stopover at the Equator near Nanyuki the base town before getting into town where you will pick the other team of cook, porters and also food supplies. Proceed to Sirimon park gate where you spend your night as you wait the next day to commence your trekking.

Day 2. MOUNT KENYA HIKING

 After breakfast, leave the camp with your packed lunch and start the hike through the moorland viewing high attitude flowers, animals and birds to Shipton camp 4,200m. ( 6-7hs).

 Day 3. MOUNT KENYA – Naivasha 

 This will be the longest day on the trip. Take an early morning tea and at around 3.00 am start the climbing along a lose scree which sometimes of the year is covered with snow to reach the summit of Lenana 4,985m. ( 3hrs) the third peak in Mt. Kenya to catch the sunrise and after a superb view from the summit as far as Mt. Kilimanjaro to the south, descend back to Shipton camp (2hrs) for breakfast. After the breakfast, descend down to Old Moses where you will connect a transfer car off the mountain to Nanyuki where you will drop the porters and then drive back to Nairobi arriving in the evening.

Day 4 Naivasha full day

The park is situated in the environs of lake Naivasha about 90 kilometers from Nairobi .it provides a variety of wildlife ,unusual flora and many bird species it’s one of Kenyan parks where climbing, walking ,and climbing are allowed.

0800 hrs leave Nairobi for Naivasha have a stopover at rift valley view point for about an hour and enjoy the spectacular view of the Great Rift Valley.

Continue to Naivasha enjoying beautiful sceneries of both the rift valley and Mount Kenya. Overlooking Lake Naivasha. Taking lunch en route at a designated place (hotel or restaurant).

Arrive at the gate either Elsa or olkaria gates that serves most tourists and enjoy cycling and trekking inside the park later dinner and overnight at TAPHEL Guest house

DAY 5: NAIVASHA/ MAASAI MARA.

Days 1: Depart from Nairobi at 9.00 am for a journey south along the flower of the Great Rift Valley. Picnic lunch at Narok and then climb the western wall entering.

Homing ways country “Serengeti plains”. Arrive Maasai Mara in the evening, game drive en route. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA.

A full day spent game viewing across (from 0800-1830 hrs)the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills the famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains, game, black maned lion ,leopard and cheetah.it also has numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya all meals and overnight at camp/lodge.

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA/NAIROBI.

Pre-breakfast game drive from 0630-0930hrs back to the camp for late breakfast. Leave Maasai Mara, lunch en-route arrive in Nairobi later afternoon.
