Day 1 · Nairobi to Masai Mara
Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your 4 Days Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru Safari begins with an early-morning pickup from your hotel, residence, or Nairobi airport. Depart Nairobi and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping at a viewpoint where you can enjoy panoramic views of the dramatic escarpment. Continue toward the Maasai Mara, passing through rural Kenyan landscapes and local communities before arriving at your safari lodge or tented camp for lunch. After lunch and a short rest, embark on your first Maasai Mara game drive. The reserve is famous for its large populations of lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other plains game. With luck, you may also encounter leopards and other predators. Day 2 · Explore the Masai Mara
Explore the Masai Mara
Wake up early for breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara. The early morning is one of the best times for wildlife viewing, when predators are active and the savannah is beautifully illuminated by the rising sun. Explore different sections of the reserve while your safari guide searches for wildlife. You may encounter prides of lions, cheetahs hunting on the open plains, elephants moving between the grasslands, large buffalo herds, giraffes, zebras and numerous antelope species.The Maasai Mara is also world-famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, when huge herds of wildebeest and zebra move through the Mara ecosystem during the migration season. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Lodge or tented camp. Day 3 · Lake Nakuru National Park

Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch and check in at your accommodation. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the park. Lake Nakuru is particularly famous for its rhino sanctuary, offering excellent opportunities to see both black and white rhinos. The park is also home to lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks and many other species.Depending on the season and water conditions, you may also see large numbers of waterbirds around the lake. Lake Nakuru to Nairobi
Start the final day with an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Explore the park as you search for wildlife and enjoy the peaceful morning scenery. This is your final opportunity to photograph rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, lions and other wildlife before leaving the park. After the game drive, depart Lake Nakuru and drive back toward Nairobi. Depending on your onward travel arrangements, you can be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel, residence, or the airport.
