This is a 3 days Sweetwater Ol Pejeta Kenya Luxury safari is a popular Kenya Safari holiday in a 24,000 acre private Sweetwater’s Game reserve which a home to variety of wild game, bird-life, and exotic flora. Distance from Nairobi is 270 kilometres, about 4 hours’ drive by road. What makes this place special and worth seeing is that it works to conserve wild life and endangered wildlife, and provides sanctuary for the great apes (Chimpanzees) they generate income through wildlife tourism and complementary enterprises for re-investment in conservation and community development. What to Expect
Accommodation is at Sweetwaters Serena Tented camp. A sheltered oasis, clustered around a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta conservancy. The camp offers a charming blend-canvas ambiance for that perfect Kenya luxury safari.
On the floor of Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the diversity and varied habitats that range from lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching , hiking, picnic and game drives.
SAFARI DAY 1: Nairobi – Olpejeta
Leave Nairobi at 8:00am to Nanyuki- Laikipia County. Arrive at olpajeta conservancy take a game drive sporting the elephant, rhino both white and the endangered black rhino, different bird species and also a black blind rhino called Baraka.
The game drive will involve two parts have lunch and a short break at the conservation, the second one followed by a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary where you can observe how they live…at an extra added fee visitors may go to their houses and see how they live. Dinner and overnight at Nairobi Sports arm hotel.
SAFARI DAY 2: OLPEJETA – NAKURU.
Depart in the morning after breakfast from Sports Arm hotel to the floor of the Great Rift Valley into Lake Nakuru national park.
The Day is spent game viewing in the park. Later stopping for lunch in one of the hotels. Dinner and overnight at Lanet mart farm resort
The park is home to warthog’s waterbucks, buffaloes, reedbucks, and occasional leopard as well as white and black rhinos which were introduced in the park few years ago.
SAFARI DAY 3: NAKURU/ NAIVASHA / NAIROBI
After breakfast depart for Hells gate and Lake Naivasha. Continue to Naivasha enjoying beautiful sceneries of both the rift valley and Mount Kenya. Overlooking Lake Naivasha. Taking lunch en route at a designated place (hotel or restaurant).
Arrive at the gate either Elsa or olkaria gates that serves most tourists.
Enjoy walking, climbing and biking. It’s an important home of the lammergeyer. Also known for its yearly wheel barrow ride events.
Experience hot springs and natural open air saunas, game viewing including baboons, warthogs, buffalo, and giraffes.
Later return back to Nairobi arriving late evening to the point of pick up Here there is slot of activities including cycling in hells gate, trekking, boat ride and many more. Later depart for Nairobi
