The 5 days group joining safari covers 2 nights in Masai Mara 1 night in Lake Nakuru and 1 night in Lake Naivasha it’s an all-inclusive safari with 3 meals a day while on safari accommodation in Masai Mara is in a tented camp with inbuilt modern toilets, hot showers and generator power supply.
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Pick up from your hotel and depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve. You will travel via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for lunch and refueling. After lunch leave Narok and drive to the reserve arriving at the camp, Check in and relax for a few minutes. Proceed for an afternoon game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 2: Full day Masai Mara Game drive
After breakfast proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Continue with game drive till 1700hrs. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru, lunch en route, with scenic views of Mt. Longmont, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Elementaita from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in Nakuru town in the evening. Dinner and overnight are at the lodge
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific bird-life including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape Buffalo and Waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline–enjoy a hot lunch and drive to lake Naivasha–you have an option to take a boat ride in this fresh water lake to go and see hippos and fish eagles at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
After breakfast in the hotel have a nature walk in the Hell’s Gate National Park. You may hire bicycles to cycle in this only biking National park in the region. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Augur Buzzard, and Swifts. African Buffalo, Zebra, Eland, Hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, and Baboons are also common. The park is also home to Klipspringer Antelope and Chanler’s Mountain Reedbuck–enjoy hot or picnic lunches and later drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Drop back to Nairobi hotel or Airport.
