Day 2 · Kibale Forest National Park
Entebbe to Kibale Forest and Chimpanzee Tracking
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Drive west through Uganda's beautiful countryside, passing tea plantations, traditional villages, and rolling hills before arriving in Kibale Forest National Park. After lunch at your lodge, relax or enjoy an optional guided nature walk around the nearby communities.

Day 3 · Queen Elizabeth National Park
Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced guides, venture into the rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzee families. Along the way, keep an eye out for other primates, colourful birds, butterflies, and unique forest flora. After the trek, enjoy lunch before driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, home to one of Africa's highest concentrations of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and countless bird species. Wake up early for a sunrise game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, one of the park's best wildlife viewing areas. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, Uganda kobs, warthogs, hyenas, and numerous antelope species. After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via the scenic Ishasha Sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions (subject to sightings). After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your unforgettable mountain gorilla trek. The trek may take between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Once found, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat—an experience considered among the greatest wildlife encounters on Earth. After the trek, receive your gorilla trekking certificate before beginning the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening.
